Do you worry about your kids and their finances?
Do you wonder how they will deal with a credit card in their hands?
Do you believe they know how to budget their allowance or paycheck?
As a young adult, do you believe you understand the best way to budget the money you
earn?
“I know I thought my parents were nuts when I was a teenager and things have not
changed in the 50+ years since I was a teenager. Wow! I wish I had listened more to
their advice and now that I am older, I realize just how smart they were, but at that age
and in college, I would never have admitted it.” Dave, our financial
advocate/coach
What about having a Financial Coach that helps you implement your values and budget
your money? Sometimes all it takes are a few conversations with a professional and
your children or you can avoid the heartache and headache of financial stress, planning,
and learning how to manage a credit card.
We at The Well-Watered Soul are here to help you.

I was born last century to a lovely couple from mid-central Kentucky.
I graduated high school in Bardstown, Ky and then earned a BA from Kentucky Christian University. In 1995, I earned two masters degrees (Business Management and Human Resources Training & Development) from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri. I also attended Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Lexington Theological Seminary and The School of Theology at The University of the South in Sewanee, TN. I have worked with people my entire life as an ordained minister of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and in the realm of money, health care and business; my last career is as Controller of a $30-million-in-gross-revenues group of warehouses in Cincinnati, Ohio and northern Kentucky.
I am married to a wonderful retired professional stage manager, actor and college professor, William West, and we live in Cincinnati, Ohio. We have one son, Aaron, who lives in Louisville, KY.
Among my passions in which I help and serve others, I believe I am uniquely qualified to help both youth (middle and high school) and young adults (college and beyond) with understanding basic personal money management, investing in the future and contributing to others who are in need – all in a practical and methodical way that can be used throughout life.
Let’s take the intimidation and fear out of finances together—one financial security step at a time.
